Here is an opportunity to really connect with your family. Take them to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. And if you are a newcomer, there is a nifty little book you can pickup beforehand that provides everything from tips to packing lists. Go to the website to learn about roughing it with your family in northern Minnesota’s wilderness. You can also order the book and seek your necessary BWCAW permit.

The videos? Long story short: We brainstormed with some kids to find out what kind of video they thought would get noticed. And they said a band on an island. So voila! We knew that the band Tangier 57 was quirky enough to pull it off and that their song He Tangata feels like a camp song. What you don’t see in these videos is the 30-40 mile per hour winds and the waves crashing over our boats, threatening our gear (and tasty beverages). You also don’t see Patrice, submerged belly deep in the water, holding the cameraman’s boat still. Magic! Hollywood, here we come.

VideoTalent: Featured Band Tangier 57 (Darin Bergsven, David Syring, Chris Bacigalupo, Paul Wartman, Brian Barber) Amy Hexum, Brennan Mears, Lydia and Wyatt.
